Dynamic Business-Centric Law Firm Joins #NJsmall Grassroots Movement – Now a Bill Sponsored by Assemblyman Schaer – to Help Hasten New Jersey’s Economic Recovery
OlenderFeldman LLP, a full-service boutique law firm that focuses on the representation of middle market companies, has signed on as an official sponsor of #NJsmall – the grassroots movement started by the agency in May 2020. This news comes on the heels of the recent announcement that New Jersey Assemblyman and Deputy Speaker, Gary Schaer, has introduced a bill inspired by the #NJsmall economic recovery model of incentivizing NJ’s large businesses to hire the state’s small businesses as a way to: 1) help more #NJsmall businesses survive, 2) help keep more NJ residents employed, and 3) help more money stay in the state without asking for additional government funding.
“From its inception, OlenderFeldman has supported the small business community in New Jersey, with a mission and vision to help nurture and foster their development and growth. We support the important initiative of #NJsmall to help small businesses across our state recover from the economic devastation they are suffering due to the effects of the pandemic,” said Howard Matalon, a partner in OlenderFeldman’s Employment Practices and Employment Litigation Group.
“We are beyond grateful to OlenderFeldman for supporting #NJsmall,” said Denise Blasevick, CEO of The S3 Agency and co-founder of the #NJsmall movement. “The road to legislation is long and arduous. It takes time, money, and the proper legal counsel. With OlenderFeldman on board, I am more confident than ever that our unique win-win-win solution for the businesses, people, and state of New Jersey will come to legislative fruition.”
#NJsmall was conceived by small business owners and to date has been entirely supported by small businesess. OlenderFeldman LLP joins the following organizations in sponsoring #NJsmall: DSP Clinical, the leading CRO in women’s health and reproductive endocrinology/infertility; benefEx, benefits consulting experts who help businesses find unfrustrating solutions; and EONJ, the New Jersey Chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
